Fees & Rebates

At Little Big Words, we aim to provide transparent, accessible, and affordable services.

Below are our fees and available rebate options:

♥ Initial Assessment & Report — Cost: $193.99 (per hour)

The Initial Assessment takes 1 hour (45 minutes face to face session +15 minutes documentation) and includes a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s communication skills.

Report (optional): $193.99 per hour for a detailed report (typically an additional hour) upon request, summarising findings and therapy recommendations.

♥ Standard Session — Cost: $193.99

(45 minutes of therapy + 15 minutes documentation)

Each session is 45 minutes of therapy, followed by 15 minutes for note-taking to document progress and plan next steps.

♥ Travel

Travel fees apply for home, school, or remote sessions based on distance.

♥ Payment Methods:

Bank transfer, credit card, or EFTPOS.

♥ Rebates:

Available through NDIS, Medicare (EPC/CDMP), and private health insurance

(please check with your provider).

♥ Responsibility for Attending Sessions and Cancellation Policy

It is the responsibility of each client to attend their scheduled sessions, and as such, our cancellation policy applies if a session is missed due to missed reminders.

In line with NDIS policy, if a session is cancelled with less than 2 clear business days’ notice (48 hours’ notice), the NDIS cancellation fee will apply. Cancellation fees are claimable for clients funded by NDIS.

♥ Rebate Options:

NDIS (self-managed & plan-managed): You can claim services through NDIS.
Medicare (EPC/CDMP): Up to 5 rebated sessions available with a valid GP referral.
Private Health Insurance: Claims are processed directly by the client with their provider. We recommend confirming the coverage with your health insurer.
